Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Delhi’s international airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax after your journey or take a leisurely stroll to explore the vibrant streets of Delhi. You may choose to visit nearby landmarks such as Connaught Place or experience Delhi’s famous street food scene in Chandni Chowk. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive of approximately 255 km (5-6 hours) to Mandawa, located in the Shekhawati region—known for its stunning frescoes and ornate havelis (mansions). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and then begin exploring the painted walls of the havelis that depict traditional Rajasthani culture, mythology, and folklore. Visit Nawalgarh’s key havelis and local bazaars. Overnight in Mandawa.
Drive around 190 km (4-5 hours) to the desert city of Bikaner. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and prepare for a full day of sightseeing. Visit Junagarh Fort, a massive and well-preserved fort complex with exquisite palaces and temples inside. Next, explore Lalgarh Palace, an architectural marvel blending Rajput, Mughal, and European styles. Don’t miss the unique Camel Breeding Farm, which is one of the largest in the world and offers insight into this desert animal's importance. Overnight in Bikaner.
Today’s drive is approximately 325 km (5-6 hours). On the way, stop at Deshnoke to visit the famous Karni Mata Temple, also known as the Temple of Rats. This unusual temple is home to thousands of rats revered by devotees. Afterward, continue your journey to Jaisalmer, famously called the Golden City for its yellow sandstone architecture that glows at sunset. Check into your hotel and unwind. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Spend your day exploring the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. Wander through the narrow lanes inside the fort and visit the ornate havelis like Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli. Set out on a 245 km (5-6 hours) drive to Udaipur, stopping en route at Ranakpur. Continue your journey to Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes, and check into your hotel. Overnight in Udaipur.
Today, explore the highlights of Udaipur. Visit the majestic City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola, a complex of palaces that showcase Rajput architecture and history. Wander through Sahelion Ki Bari, a beautiful garden built for royal ladies, and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Fatehsagar Lake. Embark on a longer drive of about 300 km (6-7 hours) to the holy town of Pushkar. Drive approximately 140 km (4-5 hours) to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and famously known as the Pink City. After checking into your hotel, you can explore local markets or relax. Jaipur is renowned for its handicrafts, textiles, and jewelry. Overnight in Jaipur.
Today’s sightseeing includes the impressive Amber Fort where you can enjoy an elephant or jeep ride to the entrance. Explore the City Palace, home to royal family museums and courtyards, and Jantar Mantar, the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world. Visit the iconic Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, with its distinctive façade. Spend some time in Jaipur’s vibrant markets hunting for souvenirs like block-printed fabrics and precious gemstones. Overnight in Jaipur.
Travel 245 km (approximately 6 hours) to Agra, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital and UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the grand Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and other palaces in this historical city. Continue to Agra and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Wake early for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, the world-famous white marble mausoleum and symbol of eternal love. After breakfast, visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO site with splendid architecture and panoramic views of the Taj Mahal. Later, drive approximately 235 km (4-5 hours) back to Delhi. Check into your hotel for the night.
