Tour Plan

Welcome to Jaipur, the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan, often referred to as the Pink City for its distinctive rose-hued buildings. On arrival, check in to your hotel and take a moment to soak in the regal atmosphere.

Depending on your arrival time, you might want to venture out for a casual evening stroll through the nearby local markets such as Bapu Bazaar or MI Road, where colorful textiles, handicrafts, and traditional jewelry await. Or simply relax and prepare for a full day of sightseeing tomorrow.

Today is dedicated to discovering Jaipur's architectural splendor and historical treasures.

Start with Amber Fort, a majestic hilltop fortress offering sweeping views and intricate Rajput architecture. You can ascend via elephant ride or jeep for a touch of royal charm.

Continue to the City Palace, the former seat of the Maharaja, where museums and courtyards echo tales of Rajasthan's glory.

Next, visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its colossal astronomical instruments.

Don't miss a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), known for its honeycomb facade and 953 windows designed to let royal ladies observe street festivals unseen.

Evening Tip: Dive into the local culture at Johari Bazaar or catch a traditional folk dance show at a local venue.

After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive (or train ride) to Jodhpur, Rajasthan’s second-largest city, famously known as the Blue City due to the indigo-colored homes in its old quarter.

Check into your hotel and unwind. If time permits, enjoy an early evening visit to the Clock Tower Market, a buzzing bazaar perfect for sampling local snacks and spices.

Begin your day with a visit to the spectacular Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most well-preserved forts in India, perched dramatically above the city. Its museums, courtyards, and panoramic views are unforgettable.

Next, pay your respects at Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, often called the Taj Mahal of Marwar.

Later, head to Umaid Bhawan Palace, still part-residence of the royal family and part-luxury hotel. The museum inside gives a glimpse into royal life.

Optional: Take a walk through the winding alleys of the old city to capture the charm of the blue-painted houses, especially magical at sunset.

Today, embark on a drive to Udaipur (approx. 5 hours). En route, you may choose to visit the intricately carved Ranakpur Jain Temple, a stunning 15th-century structure with over 1,400 uniquely carved marble pillars.

Arrive in Udaipur by evening, check into your hotel, and refresh yourself.

Cap the day with a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, with views of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir—a truly magical Udaipur moment.

Start your city tour with a visit to the grand City Palace, a massive complex with ornate balconies, towers, and courtyards overlooking the lake.

Stroll through the spiritual Jagdish Temple, followed by a peaceful visit to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a lush garden built for royal ladies.

In the evening, explore Bagore Ki Haveli, a restored haveli showcasing traditional art and culture. Don't miss the Dharohar folk dance show, a lively performance featuring Rajasthani dance, puppetry, and music.

Optional: Shop for miniature paintings, silver jewelry, or traditional fabrics at Hathi Pol Bazaar or Bada Bazaar.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and squeeze in some last-minute shopping in the bustling markets near your hotel.

Later, head to Udaipur Railway Station or Maharana Pratap Airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of royal forts, serene lakes, and the colorful culture of Rajasthan
